A question we get asked quite regularly is “Do zigs only catch carp?”.
Well although primarily designed for and used by carp anglers, they certainly do catch other species.
We’ve had reports of coarse fish such as Roach, Rudd, Bream, and Tench all caught mid water on our zigs, and the stories of epic catfish battles on zigs and 10lb line are quite regular… But here’s a new one to us, we were amazed when Declan Priestley showed us these pictures at the North West Carp Show, some very impressive Sturgeon going 44lb and 58lb both caught on the LiquizigS. We bet that was fun on zig tackle, as if you’ve ever had the excitement of being attached to one of those things, you’ll will know they’re absolutely mental.
