Team member Koen Easton had a real smash up session, zigs up on the surface and spodding dog biscuits over the top was the catalyst for the mega result.
He says
“Fishing two rods on zigs and spodding dog biscuits over them I managed to land six fish over the weekend.With the fish really having it I couldn’t resist returning for another go on Monday, I landed a stockie but noticed the fish acting a little differently so made a small change in tactics, dropping a zig to a foot below the surface and within five minutes the rod ‘bust off’. After a hairy thirty-minute battle on 10lb hooklink I had the big common in the net and at a new lake record of 39lb 8oz”
