Koen Easton, one of our dedicated team members at LiquirigS, recently faced the challenges of winter fishing with impressive results. Armed with LiquirigS Ultipoint Curves, he ventured out on a freezing Friday morning, determined to make the most of the day despite the sub-zero temperatures.
After scouting the lake twice without finding clear signs of fish, Koen decided to trust his instincts. He cast three solid bags into a swim, hoping for the best. Throughout the day, subtle movements in the water hinted at activity, encouraging him to keep his strategy.
As the day drew to a close, Koen committed to his chosen spot, placing all three solid bags close together and adding two spods of crumb over each. His efforts paid off quickly. Within two hours, he successfully landed three 30lb+ fish, each perfectly hooked on the size 6 medium curves.
The night brought a change in weather, with snow transforming the surroundings into a tranquil winter scene. Despite his hopes, the elusive snow carp did not make an appearance, but what a result.
